Description
This course introduces student grades 3 thru 8 to basic dance techniques used in various styles as a way to discover personal expression, self agency and awareness through movement, basic choreography and improvisation techniques.
Designed to uplift imagination, spatial awareness,This course will also have participants explore personal artistic possibilities

Workshop classes are administered through structured and unstructured modalities; giving the participant an ability to learn, process, explore and respond creatively. Emphasis will be on learning the importance of working as a collaborative community. The class series will culminate as a gathering with friends, family, staff and general community when appropriate.
